To prepare the graduated for entry - level positions as Electrical Engineers for the broad range of opportunities available in industrial, commercial and governmental organizations. The discipline of Electrical Engineering Undergraduated Programme was introduced in the year 2002. The department takes the credit of introducing M.Tech (Power Electronics) Programme from the year 2007. The department has produced 11th Rank holder among JNTU affiliated colleges. .

Faculty: The faculty with a strength of 2 professor and number of Associate and Assistant Professors with Post Graduate qualification and rich experience in teaching and industry contribute enormously to the quality of teaching - learning process in the curriculum with the specializations like Power Electronics, Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Control Systems and Applied Electronics
