CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

            Four year B.Tech course in Civil Engineering was started in the institution during the academic year 2004-05 The department is guided by a well experienced professor as Head with over 40 years of experience in various capacities in academics as well in industry As there was a lot of infrastructure development within the state as well as whole country, competition to join in Civil Engineering course has become attractive choice for the candidates.

             The first Batch rolled out during April/May 2008 and all of them got employement in reputed companies while some of them are pursuing their PG Studies For the days to come a consultation wing is proposed to start where in the department can take up projects such as foundations of structures using the Soil sampling methods and also using Plate bearing test methods. CIVIL CAD lab is also being developed with the latest software for designing of multistoried buildings.

            Faculty: The Department has a team of Assoc. Professor and Assistant Professors with M.Tech Qualifications and experience of over 15 years. These highly experienced and dedicated faculty impart quality training to students with great emphasis being laid on understanding the fundamentals and applying it to solve the industry oriented challenging problems.
